Use Help mode in the Combo Palette to search the documentation when you know the question but not the exact page name.

Help mode is the ? mode in the Combo Palette.

In the current build, it is best thought of as a fast support and feedback surface, not a full documentation search engine yet.

What it does right now #

Help mode already gives you two direct actions:

  • Ask a question
  • Report a bug

Each one opens its own sheet from inside the palette so you can send feedback without hunting for a separate contact form.

If Common Cents already knows who you are, the feedback flow can prefill your email address.

What is still coming #

The palette already frames this mode as Help, but the actual docs-search part is still on the way.

That means this mode is useful today when:

  • you hit a blocker and want to ask for help
  • you found a bug and want to report it quickly

It is not yet the place to rely on for full in-palette documentation discovery.

When to use it #

Use it when you know what you need help with but do not want to browse the docs sidebar manually.

For now, that mostly means using the feedback actions. As the help search becomes more complete, this mode should become a better direct path into the docs themselves.
